Biblical Womanhood Defined

The best definition of Biblical Womanhood can be found in Titus 2:3 " 3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, 4 so that they may [a]encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored. "

As and older woman, I am to encourage younger women to:

1. Love your husbands
2. Love your children
3. To be sensible
4. Pure
5. Workers at home
6. Kind
7. Subject to your own husbands

In today's society this seems old-fashioned, irrelevant. Our culture praises women who have careers, pursue degrees, success and money. Our culture makes fun of women who are submissive to their own husbands, women who stay at home and raise a family. Why? Because we have believed a lie rather to than the truth of God's word. We have replaced clear Biblical commands with the wisdom of the world. According to God, these are 'good' things I am commanded to teach to younger women.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

All to Him I Owe,

Paige
